Owned businesses. Sold businesses. Experience on both sides of the deal.
I’ve owned businesses and advised owners through a sale. I understand what’s at stake on both sides.
From straightforward business sales to complex businesses and transactions, I bring personal attention, creative thinking and a tailored approach. I look beyond the offer price to the buyer’s ability to close, the deal structure and what the terms mean for you.
My focus is established service companies, including electrical, generator and HVAC businesses, along with professional practices, healthcare-related businesses, manufacturing and distribution.
We consider individual, strategic and private equity buyers based on your business and priorities.

01
UNDERSTAND THE BUSINESS
Set the strategy.
Discuss your goals, review the records available and identify what supports an asking range—and what needs attention before approaching buyers.
02
GO TO MARKET CONFIDENTIALLY
Find the right buyer fit.
Prepare your approved marketing materials, assess buyer qualifications and use NDAs with staged disclosure of identifying information.
03
COMPARE THE COMPLETE OFFER
Negotiate beyond price.
Compare cash at closing, seller financing, contingencies and your role afterward. I coordinate the process with your attorney, CPA and lender as needed.
04
KEEP THE DEAL MOVING
Work toward closing.
Keep the parties aligned on information requests, outstanding conditions and the agreed handover. Your independent advisors handle their professional reviews and documents.
How do I find out what my Miami business is worth?
Start with supported earnings, not a multiple someone heard at dinner. Review three years of P&Ls and tax returns, a current balance sheet and the last 12 months of results. Then look at the industry, revenue quality, customer mix, your role and comparable transactions where reliable data is available. The readiness check is a preparation tool; it does not produce a business valuation.
Can I explore a sale without telling employees or customers?
Yes. We can start with a private conversation and a discussion of the records available. Before marketing, we agree on how the business will be described and when identifying information can be shared. Buyers are screened, and an NDA is part of the process. Confidentiality needs a plan throughout the transaction.
Do I need to be ready to sell right now?
No. If a sale is one to three years away, that gives us time to work through the issues buyers are likely to raise. Clean financials, a capable team and less dependence on the owner are easier to address before a buyer is at the table.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
My focus is established privately held businesses, including home and commercial services, professional practices, healthcare-related businesses, manufacturing and distribution. I’m based in Miami Beach and work with owners in Miami, across South Florida and throughout Florida.
How long does selling a business take?
There isn’t an honest one-size-fits-all timeline. Preparation, pricing, buyer fit, financing, diligence and the lease or real estate can all affect the schedule. After reviewing the business, we can discuss a realistic plan and the steps most likely to affect timing.
What should I send before an initial conversation?
You don’t need to upload financial records here. Start with your industry, city, rough revenue range and timing. If it makes sense to continue, we’ll agree on an appropriate way to share financial information. Keep tax returns, customer lists and account details out of the contact form.
Tell me what your company does, where it operates and when you’re considering a sale.
I’ll follow up personally. We’ll discuss your goals and, if there’s a fit, the records needed for an initial brokerage market assessment. You don’t need to send financial documents to get started.
